The best way to describe the eRecording process. Think of the internet as an electronic version of your current Courier, Attorney Service Runner, or the US Postal Service package. E-recording is your fast new cost-effective document delivery option. You scan your document(s) separately in Black & White with a recommended 300 to 1200 DPI, submit via a secure internet portal<\/strong> while placing your order which is then recorded submitted to the County and returned through the same method.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Here is how to get started<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

1.<\/strong> Set up a free account<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

2.<\/strong> Click Place Order<\/strong> and place a new County Recording order.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

3.<\/strong> Choose County Recording<\/strong> and Choose your County<\/strong> and branch if applicable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

4.<\/strong> Check the box<\/strong> even if you have a case number.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

5.<\/strong> Click Add Party<\/strong> and Choose either Organization<\/strong> or Person<\/strong> and enter the entity name and save.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Choose Yes for \u201d Is this your lead client?\u201d and see the next image.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Choose Requester<\/strong> from the drop-down menu.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If you have an internal \/ office billing code<\/strong> or file number enter it, otherwise enter N\/A<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Click save and next.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

6.<\/strong> In the Documents tab, click on the Existing Documents<\/strong> \u201cRadio Button\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

And Immediately Click on Cancel<\/strong> when the below window pops up.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Once you click Cancel, Start Typing out the Exact Name of your Document.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When done, click on the Attach File<\/strong> button to the right of the Document Field as displayed below,<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Once document(s) is\/are uploaded choose Countrywide Process is Authorized to Advance Fees.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

7.<\/strong> Finally, Choose your Service Level<\/strong> and click Submit.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When I place the order, is it directly to the Recorder?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When you place your order on our portal, we submit your document(s) to the County Recorder via a secure portal based on your order criteria.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What is the cost?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Currently, our Routine eRecording fee is $55.00 plus the Recorders fee & $10.00 portal fee.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For additional levels, fees and volume pricing call or text, 323.425.8097 Toll charges from your phone carrier may apply.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

How do I pay the invoice?<\/strong> By using your preferred method,  credit\/debit card, or (ECH\/ACH).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

How long does it take?<\/strong> Past experience has shown, on average, 1 \u2013 3 days.  County turnaround varies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Any setup or recurring fees?<\/strong> No, just a one-time fee for the particular eRecording order.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Do I have to use Countrywideprocess.com<\/a>?<\/strong> No, but we are good at what we do.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Can I Record Multiple Documents with one order? <\/strong>Yes, if they are part of the same transaction, in the same county, and associated with the same property, otherwise, you will need to place a separate order. An additional document fee of $10.00 may apply. Also, keep in mind, multiple documents may be submitted per order but if one is rejected, the entire package is rejected.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
